Terms & Conditions

1. Who you're contracting with

This site and the Not Another Church Marketing Conference ("NACMC", the "Service") are operated by Chris Mefford LLC("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, have authority to bind that organization.

3. What we provide

An application process for a small in-person working intensive for church marketers, plus supporting web content (guides, information about the event) and ticket sales for accepted applicants.

4. Accounts and accuracy

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of any person;
  • probe, scan, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or introduce malware;
  • scrape or bulk-download content; or
  • misrepresent yourself or your organization in your application.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, its content, software, branding, and materials. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

7. Payments & Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

8. Refunds

Ticket refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Refund requests are processed by Paddle at paddle.net.

9. Event changes

We may change the date, venue, format, or lineup of the event where reasonably necessary. If a change materially affects your ability to attend, you may request a refund per the Refund Policy.

10. Service level

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Chris Mefford LLC against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
